Stewart enjoys Choral Music, both listening and participating.

He joined Strathaven Choral Society (SCS) in Autumn 1994, singing First Bass. In June 1996, he became their Concert Manager. In October 2000 Stewart stage managed his largest event to date with over 300 choristers and instrumentalists at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

Strathaven Choral Society meets from 19:30 to 21:30 on Monday nights in in the West Church Hall, Townhead Street, Strathaven, South Lanarkshire.

The 2001/02 session commenced on 20 August 2001, and resumed after the Christmas break on 7 January 2002.
